NYSE Trading Hours
The NYSE, New York Stock Exchange, is typically open for trading between the times of 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
Typical holidays that the NYSE is typically closed for include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Washington's Birthday, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (Fourth of July), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas.
The NYSE offers to member firms four crossing sessions in its Off-Hours Trading Facility, typically for two and half hours immediately after the regular session. The only exception is the Crossing Section I from 4:15 PM to 5:00 PM.
The NASDAQ trading times are similar to the NYSE trading hours.
